Line Cook
The Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures under the direction or the Executive Chef or Lead Cook. The individual should safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc.
Back of House Utility
The Back of House Utility person is responsible for:
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment to ensure a consistent supply of clean items for service.
- Clean and assist with maintaining the kitchen area
- Emptying trash both front and back of house
- Working to help prep some kitchen items
- Other items as assigned by the Executive Chef
Server and Bartender
Servers and bartenders are the face of El Vinedo Local. They are responsible for the following:
- Greet guests enthusiastically
- Ensure high quality service is provided to each guest
- Run food and beverages to tables (bartenders will prepare beverages)
- Meet health department requirements in the delivery of food
- Learn about wine and how to sell wines to guests
- Other duties as assigned by front of house management
